My first time visiting Toronto’s Evergreen Brickworks was for 2018’s Coffee and Tea Expo this spring! It didn’t feel like spring though…it was a snowy April day and while we loved sampling the teas and coffees I can honestly say we braved the cold for it!
There were so many vendors, so if you love tea and coffee this is definitely the event for you! I myself love chai teas and the variety available did not disappoint! Marc wasn’t too impressed with all of the coffees, but he’s more of the traditional Italian espresso kind of guy.
We purchased some tea and my favourite from the day was Mox Tea a “viking” tea…it touts itself as being invigorating and energizing. I thought I’d give it a shot, as the vendors also mentioned that it was great for people with anxiety. I’ve had it a few times now and I really enjoy it! It’s got some natural sweetness to it that reminds me of cinnamon hearts or big red gum, and it’s really nice on a chilly, rainy or snow spring day.
