You don’t always need to do a lot of planning or save up for an expensive trip to cure that adventurous travel bug, sometimes the best things are right around the corner. This was the case during my recent trip to visit my big sister in California. She moved out there a couple of years ago, and since she made the move from east to west coast I’ve made several trips out to see her! There’s so much to see and do in northern California and I love that she’s not far from San Francisco. The city has so much to see and offer and it’s quickly become one of my favourite places. However, there’s an amazing attraction not far from her home that we only got around to checking out recently…Mt. Diablo. Only a short drive from her town, Mt. Diablo is one of those summits that is not only awe inspiring, but also boasts one of the greatest views in northern California!
As one of the highest peaks in the area, you have a far reaching and expansive view at the top of Mt. Diablo, and if what I’m telling you doesn’t paint the picture, check out my pics from our trip!
